ABOUT ME

A young mother of one, Alexandra discovered her passion for birth after the birth of her son, Theodore.

Alexandra says that pregnancy was a huge eye opening experience for her. So many different opinions and so many different options when it came to birth place, diet, exercise, things you can do, things you can’t do; the list goes on. After the birth of her son, the experience only became more eye opening and intriguing. Alexandra hopes to work with many mothers to help them create their own idea of birth and achieve the birth experience that is perfect for them. Alexandra hopes to work with other young mothers and teenagers (discounted rate offered for single mothers and teens, please enquire!) to help them achieve the birth experience that is often taken from them as a result of a judgemental system.
Visual art and photography have always been passions for Alexandra, so when she realised that she could combine her passion for creativity with her passion for birth she jumped at the chance. Now offering photography packages as well as doula services, please see the photo gallery for an example of her work.

Education & Qualifications
Alexandra is a qualified Birth and Postnatal Doula after completing the two courses through Optimum Birth. Keen on continuously furthering her studies, Alexandra is currently completing an Advanced Diploma in Naturopathy with AIAS.
