Welcome to Memorable Beginnings. Birthing a baby can be the most powerful and memorable experience imaginable to a mother – a memory that never fades. Your pregnancy journey is special, important and unique to you, so the decisions you make during these months are critical to you and your baby. There has now been a major study done showing the incredible benefits to women who choose to birth with a doula supporting them, including lower caesarean rates, lower medicated birth rates, lower intervention rates, better bonding and more successful and pain-free breastfeeding. I share my vast knowledge on birth with you over the course of your pregnancy, without bombarding you with information or pushing things that you may be uncomfortable with, so that you can make well informed decisions for you and your baby, and you feel supported every step of the way. I provide support for homebirths, hospital births and birth centre births, however I encourage you to book an initial appointment with me before making a decision on where to have your baby, as this is one of the many decisions I can assist you with by providing factual information exploring your options.
